Candidate sourcing: How to plan a successful hiring campaign

Critical to a successful hiring campaign is having enough time and resource to dedicate to it. Working out what ‘enough’ is can be challenging. All too often the quality of the hire is compromised because you haven’t been able to give it the time it needs.

As specialists in candidate sourcing, we’ve been testing what works and what doesn’t for a number of years now. We know how long it takes to identify and approach candidates for different types of roles. On average a non-complicated role require on average 5 full days over 3 weeks. While a more complex role with a rarer skillset needs on average 10-14 days over 4-5 weeks.
